Stephanie Sfara, PT, DPT, CSCS
Stephanie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Youngstown State University in 2018, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA since 2017.
She has had a diverse background ranging from being in the clinic treating a wide range of orthopedic injuries to working in the sports performance sector. This led her to starting ROI with the goal of using these experiences to help adults improve their mobility, strength, and overall well-being both in and out of the gym.
Outside of the gym, you can find Steph enjoying local wineries, exploring the outdoors with her husband Jordan, and spending time with their dog Koby.
Jordan Smuts, MS, ATC, CSCS
Jordan is a Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating with his Masters Degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2013, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA since 2014.
Jordan started his career in the sports medicine field before moving on to personal training in 2014. Now, having coached more than 13,000 hours of in-person sessions, Jordan started ROI with his wife Stephanie to help busy professionals figure out how fit exercise into their hectic lives.
Outside of the gym, you can find Jordan grilling up some food, enjoying a good glass of bourbon, and spending time relaxing with his wife and pup.
Sonia Lasine, CPT, CFSC
Sonia has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in Behavior Change for 4 years. She is also certified through Kettlebell Kings as a L1 Kettlebell Instructor and is a Certified Functional Strength Coach. Her path to personal training was indirect, coming to this position through her experience with injury and persistent pain. Today, Sonia is an accomplished kettlebell sport athlete with several #1 rankings and titles.
Sonia wishes to pay forward what she gained from her time in chronic pain. She is passionate about restoring her clients’ confidence in themselves and educating them on the nature of pain and what is going on in their bodies. She hopes she is a beacon of hope to anyone suffering - it certainly doesn’t have to be that way.
Aside from kettlebell lifting and competing, you can catch Sonia learning Muay Thai, watching MMA, wrestling with her dog, spending time with her kids, and if it’s summertime, sliding down the waterslide!
Collin Versaw, CPT, CF-L1
Collin has been a NASM Personal Trainer for over 3 years. In addition to general fitness and functional strength training, he s also an accomplished fighter and martial arts coach specializing in Muay Thai, Boxing, and Dutch Kickboxing. He is also an Officer in the US Army Reserves with 3 years of active duty service as an Infantryman and a deployment to Afghanistan.
Collin is passionate about getting his clients more fit and gaining more confidence through training. He believes that the needs of a professional athlete and an older adult differ only in degree, but not kind.
Outside of coaching and martial arts training, Collin loves to play guitar, listen to Classic Rock and Metal music, throw back a cold one with his friends and family, play D & D, and watch Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.
Zachary Frame, CPT, EIM-1
Zachary has a degree in Exercise Science from Shenandoah University and a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Since 2021, Zach has worked in both medical fitness and sports performance, helping individuals of all backgrounds move safely, effectively, and with purpose.
Passionate about making fitness both fun and functional, Zach believes exercise should enhance daily life, whether it’s improving performance, recovering from injury, or simply feeling stronger and more confident. He takes a personalized approach to training, ensuring every client feels supported and motivated.
Outside of work, you can find Zach exploring the outdoors with his wife Marissa, biking, hiking, or watching a baseball game. When it’s time to relax, he loves to immerse himself in the magic of Harry Potter.
Gabrielle Rice, CSCS
Gabby is a recent graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
Her background in sports and passion for functional strength training has led her to pursue a career in personal training to help people get stronger, move better, and build confidence along the way. She loves encouraging others to build a balanced, healthy lifestyle and firmly believes that exercise is not just good for the body, but for the mind and soul as well.
Outside of the gym, Gabby enjoys hiking, walks in the sunshine, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with friends and family.
Sue Hulsebusch, CPT
Sue has been working in Richmond as a personal trainer and strength coach since 2001. She attended Samford University and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She was formerly certified through StrongFirst as a StrongFirst Level 1 and 2 Kettlebell Instructor, as well as an SFL Instructor.
She helps her clients reach their absolute potential through healthy lifestyle strategies and also utilizes bodyweight training, kettlebells, barbells, TRX, along with mobility drills (and laughter) during her sessions.
Sue loves helping her clients become healthier, move better, and become stronger for life. “Strength has a greater purpose” is a favorite motto of hers.
