About Us

Stephanie Sfara, PT, DPT, CSCS

Stephanie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Youngstown State University in 2018, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA since 2017.

She has had a diverse background ranging from being in the clinic treating a wide range of orthopedic injuries to working in the sports performance sector. This led her to starting ROI with the goal of using these experiences to help adults improve their mobility, strength, and overall well-being both in and out of the gym.

Outside of the gym, you can find Steph enjoying local wineries, exploring the outdoors with her husband Jordan, and spending time with their dog Koby.

Jordan Smuts, MS, ATC, CSCS

Jordan is a Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating with his Masters Degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2013, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA since 2014.

Jordan started his career in the sports medicine field before moving on to personal training in 2014. Now, having coached more than 13,000 hours of in-person sessions, Jordan started ROI with his wife Stephanie to help busy professionals figure out how fit exercise into their hectic lives.

Outside of the gym, you can find Jordan grilling up some food, enjoying a good glass of bourbon, and spending time relaxing with his wife and pup.

She attended Samford University and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She was formerly certified through StrongFirst as a StrongFirst Level 1 and 2 Kettlebell Instructor, as well as an SFL Instructor.

She helps her clients reach their absolute potential through healthy lifestyle strategies and also utilizes bodyweight training, kettlebells, barbells, TRX, along with mobility drills (and laughter) during her sessions.

Sue loves helping her clients become healthier, move better, and become stronger for life. “Strength has a greater purpose” is a favorite motto of hers.

Sonia Green, CPT

Sonia has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in Behavior Change for 4 years. She is also certified through Kettlebell Kings as a L1 Kettlebell Instructor. Her path to personal training was indirect, coming to this position through her experience with injury and persistent pain. Today, Sonia is an accomplished kettlebell sport athlete with several #1 rankings and titles.

Sonia wishes to pay forward what she gained from her time in chronic pain. She is passionate about restoring her clients’ confidence in themselves and educating them on the nature of pain and what is going on in their bodies. She hopes she is a beacon of hope to anyone suffering - it certainly doesn’t have to be that way.

Aside from kettlebell lifting and competing, you can catch Sonia learning Muay Thai, watching MMA, wrestling with her dog, spending time with her kids, and if it’s summertime, sliding down the waterslide!
